The last few weeks have been so busy with school and it's only about to get crazier so thought I would update the blog with some highlights from the past few weeks....
A few weeks ago Ben and I had been studying all weekend and decided it was time for a break. We've been wanting to explore more of Fairmount Park so got in the car and just started driving in that general direction...here's what we found:
Meanwhile, back at the apartment, the cats had an early Christmas when we brought up this gem from the basement. They haven't seen it since Millbrae and oh how they love this heat-producing saucer (note: Peter's winter mane).
That same weekend one of my friends hosted a "Friendsgiving" Dinner. It was so fun and relaxing so spend time with classmates and not talk about school for a night!! I have loved becoming friends with these girls...
The lovely hostess =)
The temperature is finally beginning to drop (although last week we had several days in the 60's!) I keep waiting for this "East Coast" winter to arrive but so far I have still been able to ride my bike, jog, and go sockless. I took these on campus last week and am so glad I did because now almost all of the leaves are on the ground.
This poster that says "125" actually says "celebrating 125 years of nursing at Penn"! I am so thankful to be attending a school with such a strong tradition in nursing.
View from our front steps...
Just a lazy Saturday morning
As much as we have enjoyed Fall we are really looking forward to it being over so we can finish this semester and go to Germany! We can't wait.
Stay tuned, Thanksgiving pics to come.
