Kristin and I made it to Colorado yesterday evening after driving through the beautiful western Colorado area. We passed over the continental divide through Vail, and through a rain and snow storm, and drove down to Castle Rock to spend time with Jack and Mitzi Bishop. Mitzi is my (Ben) cousin on my mother's side. They prepared a great dinner and we enjoyed spending time on their deck with their two children, Dakota and Chase. Later on in the evening we also got to hang out with Dana and Richard and their family (Dana is another cousin on my mother's side). It's been great for me (Kristin) to hear some funny stories about little Ben from the cousins and to just learn more about the extended family in general. It's rare that we get to spend time with Ben's family and we're really thankful that we got to drive through Denver!
