My first two weeks of life have been full of eating, sleeping, getting my diaper changed, and many "firsts". I've documented a few below.
During our home visit, the nurse checked my ears while Mimi held me. I'm wearing socks on my hands because I had been scratching my face until Mama found my nail file.
Daddy introduced me to his quilt that the ladies at his church made for him when he was born.
I love sleeping on my Daddy's chest. Sometimes Mama finds Daddy's chest hair on me.
Mama and Mimi thought pink was a great color on me. Since this picture, Mama just thinks every color looks good on me.
My first picture in front of the love sign when I'm outside the womb (many were taken when I was still on the inside, photo montage coming soon).
The orange one is warming up to me.
My first walk in Clark Park. The view from inside Daddy's coat was limited, but I sure was warm.
Mama gave me my first bath.
I can't say that I loved it.
But I admit, my hair looked good afterwards.
My first visit with my pediatrician. She's the same doctor that taught Mama how to be a nurse practitioner.
I told you he's warming up.
That ring is about all I can focus on at this point in life. I look forward to observing the other hanging objects that make noises on this thing they call my "activity mat".
The blanket Mama made for me keeps me soooo warm.
My first visitors!
The parents took me to Green Line Cafe. It was fine, but halfway through that delicious drink I let them know I needed my own drink so we went home.
Even though I have a nice bassinet and a cozy bouncy chair, Mama likes to hold me for a lot of my naps. It's like she doesn't want to put me down. I don't seem to mind either.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
